Funerals

Did you know you are able to choose your own celebrant to conduct the funeral for your loved one? The funeral home may advise you, but ultimately, it is your choice.

When I am asked to help create and conduct a funeral ceremony, it is approached with the utmost respect and sensitivity. I spend hours with the bereaved family, listening carefully to them and helping them make the most appropriate choices to include in the ceremony.

Favourite music can be played and poetry read. Relatives and friends can play an active role in the ceremony, and a montage of photos can be viewed.

Before the day of the funeral, the ceremony is checked by you to make sure it is accurate. You will not have any surprises on the day.

Acknowledging and celebrating, as well as sensitively helping those who are grieving are my strongest attributes.
